Saving Money on Back to School Expenses

It’s August and that means school will be starting soon!  Whether you are a student or the parent of one, it is important to do everything you can to save money on back to school expenses.  According to the National Retail Federation, in 2009, on average, families spent almost $600 on back to school!  Yesterday, HelpSaveMyDollars.com founder Scott Gamm appeared on two ABC News segments to offer tips and suggestions on how to save money on back to school expenses, including textbooks and credit cards:
